I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year. It’s been a busy year for Shadow Chaser, my friends. I’m happy to say
the book is ready to roll, and I will be contacting review agencies after the New Year. Also, I am pleased to announce the release of the

My dear friends,

I have some sad news to share with you today. I received a note from the "The Dave Simons Appreciation Society" saying that facebook friend, fellow member, and legendary artist, Dave Simons has passed away. Mr. Simons was known throughout the comic world as a visionary. I remember when I invited him to this group. He joined and was even kind enough to wish me well. For a person who is just starting out, having encouragement from a person with Dave’s prestige was priceless and an honour. Dave was a real class act. The website will soon be ready to explore. I am also happy to share with you that the profile portraits will soon be added to the site. My nephew, Ron Belaire Jr., is the inker behind all the artwork. Even though the lad is still in high school, his work has made an impression on a number of artists around the cyber world. All of the artwork is currently available on the photo wall.
Because I wanted to make this a special occasion for us all, I am requesting your permission to add your names to a special thank you page in my book. I will list you as members of my facebook group. This request will appear as a topic on the group wall. If do not wish to be added, please email me or leave a note on the discussion wall. In order to confirm how many people are interested, please respond to this group or myself by the deadline July 1, 2009.

Hey folks,
I hope all is well. I want to start out by thanking YOU ALL for all your support and encouragement over the past months. I appreciate it in more ways than you can ever imagine. As I mentioned in the last update, the book is now with my copy editor. Once he is finished with the updates, I intend to distribute a number of copies to some chosen reviewers. It’s a long, educational road to self-publishing, and it has been my pleasure to have you along for the ride.
Now I wish to share with you all some exciting news. I have had my webmaster prepare a page that will allow you to download the first four chapters of the novel as a thank you gift.

I want to take the time to thank and honour my friend Dennis Lauzon. This gentleman saved the lives of dozens during a recent fire in Pembroke. He evacuated his neighbours out of the apartment building as the blaze consumed the structure. Dennis placed the safety of others above his own. I may write about a super-hero, but I can say that Dennis is a real hero. Thank you, sir.

I have new updates, my friends. The final edits of the novel are now in the hands of my copy editor and will soon be ready for reviews. I happy to say the trailer has now over 1,300 views on YouTube alone. Thanks you all for watching and spreading the news. I am honoured and grateful to see that we have now 135 members in this group; a huge thanks to all of you for joining this group. I am fortunate to have you all here. I have had letters from people that were unable to join due to Facebook group restrictions, but have offered their best wishes and support. Even thought they are not a registered member, I consider them members, supporters, and most important, my friends. You are all the best. I would not be here without your support. More updates soon as well as a tribute to all of you.
